Kenmerkend aan de Bom Dia Vintage Port is de krachtige, intense stijl met veel structuur, diepte en lengte. De stijl is wat minder “sticky” dan menig andere Vintage Port. Door dit wat minder uitgesproken zoete profiel komen de tannines en kruidige tonen wat meer op de voorgrond. Al met al een zeer goed geslaagde Vintage Port!

"The 2018 Vintage Port Bom Dia was bottled in June 2020, shortly after this tasting, it is a field blend of typical grapes, unoaked and coming in with 92 grams per liter of residual sugar. Showing beautifully, this has good depth, even better structure and enticing intensity of flavour. Tight, powerful and long on the finish, this aromatic Port is a beauty for it's purity, flavour and structure, as an unoaked Port, it's a bit different, it seems a little more tense and lifted but not quite as rich. This is a style to which I have gravitated when done well. The unoaked versions don't tend to project as much concentration, but the fruit is gorgeous. You are going to need to stock this away for a few years, although the tannins ar not unduly hard. It certainly drank better the next day. Maybe with most of the decade in the cellar, it will be in a good place and come around faster than I think."
